MORE THAN SUNDAY. MORE THAN US. MORE THAN NOW.

For 47 years, Grace has stood faithfully at the corner of Highways 360 and 183 as a light in North Austin. Our story began in 1968, when a small group of faithful believers gathered, first in a home and later in a car dealership, united by a vision to bring the Kingdom of God to this growing community.

In the years since, we’ve continued to trust God as He moves our hearts toward the lost, instilling a desire to meet people where they are and to care for the vulnerable while sharing the hope of Jesus.

Now, we believe God is calling us to the next chapter: looking to the future, we hope to increase our ministry impact by building two new campus facilities to expand what we can do at Grace. At the same time, we will invest in God’s kingdom by strengthening existing partnerships, pursuing new ones, and bringing the Gospel to unreached people groups—including fully funding at least one new Bible translation so people can hear God’s Word in their own language.

A NOTE FROM PASTOR MATT CASSIDY

Dear Grace Family,

These words from Ephesians 3 have become the foundation for More Than. Even as we begin this two-year initiative, I’m amazed at how God has already brought these words to life in the story of Grace.

For more than fifty years, God has been faithful to our church. He has saved, shaped, healed, and sustained His people through Grace as generations have gathered to worship, grow in Christ, serve others, and build community. Today, we find ourselves in another significant season.

Our mission remains the same: guiding people to become like Christ in all of life. As our church grows, so does the opportunity before us. We believe God is inviting us into a season of deeper trust, greater generosity, and renewed commitment to His work through Grace.

This is not simply a building campaign. It is a discipleship journey. It is about asking God to do something in us so that He might do more through us.

That is why we are calling this initiative More Than.

It is about more than Sunday. We need space that supports discipleship, ministry, and care throughout the week.

It is about more than us. We want to continue blessing our city, strengthening ministry partners, and supporting the work of the Gospel beyond our walls.

And it is about more than now. We are seeking to steward well what God has entrusted to us for future generations, just as others sacrificed before us.

Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to trust Him with what He has entrusted to them. Generosity is one of the ways He shapes our hearts and teaches us to seek first His Kingdom.

I invite you to join us on this journey. Pray, listen, and ask God what faithfulness looks like for you in this season. Ask Him to grow your trust, deepen your joy, and shape your generosity.

My prayer for the More Than initiative is that we would keep stepping out in faith, one day at a time; that God would deepen our faith as we grow in generosity and give us a better picture as a church of what it really means to abide in Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.

Grateful to be your pastor,

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”

engagement

Our primary goal for More Than is 100% engagement as we seek God’s will for Grace together. We are inviting every person in our church family to pray fervently, to examine their souls, and to follow God’s leading so we can become more like Christ in every area of life—including in generosity.

By the grace of God, we hope to accomplish more than we ever dared to imagine possible.

secondary Goal

$60 million

in generosity

This initiative is about more than what we do on Sundays, more than what we do for ourselves, and more than what we can do right now as we step forward in faith to serve others and make Jesus known.

We encourage every person at Grace to join us on this journey, investing in the Kingdom of God and in the future of our church. We are committed to putting God before us in all things and following where He leads. We believe this is where God is calling our church, and it will take all of us—together—to accomplish the ministry He has placed before us.

What’s Next?

We are inviting you on a faith-filled journey with God and with us by taking a step in generosity—perhaps even your very first step. More Than will be a movement led by God, for His glory and for our good.

Ready to join us?

what we are asking of you

PRAY

that God would show you the part He wants you to play in this initiative. Is financial giving to your church an area of your life you have not yet surrendered to God? Is there fear, past hurt or a desire for control that you need to talk to God about? Ask Him to show you the specific step of faith He’s asking of you.

COMMIT

to going on this discipleship journey with us. Be a part of the goal of 100% engagement. Support this vision in your spheres of influence and commit to being at each Sunday service during the More Than sermon series from August 23 through September 27.

GIVE

generously in a way that transforms you. Whether it’s the first step in your giving journey or the next in a lifetime of trusting the Lord with your resources, give to God and trust Him to do more than you could ask or imagine.
